Hello dear reader!
Welcome to the first issue of 2026. It’s not a Monday, but it’s the first day of the year. It’s like the Monday for the new year.
In this issue:
- Photography goals: from digital to print with photo books and zines
- Why the newsletter remains my priority for meaningful connections
- New software projects beyond PostFlow
Some time ago, I used to look back at the end of the year, and do a year in review. Not this year. Not because I didn’t like the year, far from it. It was a great one. Full of travels, photography, family and friends. But because, I want to look forward. Keep the momentum of 2025 going, and get into 2026 with some objectives.
Photography
For 2026 I want to keep the photography going. The postcards I created were nice gift for friends and family, and I’m looking forward to keep exploring ways to move my photography from the digital realm, to the physical one.
I’ve been thinking on creating a photo book or a zine. A physical artifact to transmit my photos and some stories. In particular bridging my scientific/research practice, with the creativity of photography. The idea I have in mind is re-visiting my Ph.D. thesis, and build from it combining it with some photography. The topic: multi-modal mobility and multilayer networks. What do you think?

Writing
It is no surprise that the newsletter will remain a priority. It’s my creative outlet that lets me share my interests with all of you, and create meaningful connections. I have been thinking about the use of social media, and how -the connections made in there- feel superficial versus the connections, and chats I have had because of publishing this newsletter. I want to foster meaningful connections, rather than a large number of followers.
Professional
The goal for 2026 is ambitious. Besides PostFlow, the photography sharing automation service I built, I want to create new software pieces. I have been working, behind scenes, on some ideas and projects that will see the light during 2026. The objective is to take more control on the professional side. I’ll make sure to share more on that later on.
Here’s for a 2026 full of moments to be photographed, travels, and new places to be discovered. I hope this year comes with new connections, new chats to have, drinks, and laughter!
That’s it for today! If you enjoyed this issue, share it with a friend! Know someone who is planning their new year? Send it their way—they might like this newsletter.
