Short week.
Last week came as a short work week as it started with the celebration of Liberation Day in The Netherlands. Monday was full of festivals around the country, and even a concert in the Amstel. Paired it with good weather, it was the perfect time to be outside.

In the work front it was a normal week. Some coding, meetings, planning. The usual.
I also found time for my side projects. The side things that I tend to do. I wrote about the ASCII flight game that I developed during the week. It definitely was one of the highlights. If you played it, let me know! I’ll love to hear about your experience.

The weekend had a bit of everything, including: good food, good wine, walking outside, and a day trip to Leiden. We went to Leiden to support a couple of friends running the half marathon. It was great seeing them running and succeeding!

I also took the opportunity to take some photos while we were in Leiden. It’s a beautiful city, to which I want to go back and explore more.
As you can see, it was a normal week. A week to enjoy life and spent time being outside. Hope you all had a great week too!
Weeknotes
Fediverse
- If I hear one more person talk about “putting our brightest people toward solving climate change”, I will scream.
- If you access corporate email on a personal device that can be unlocked with FaceID, you must change your face at least once every sixty days.
Books
- Careless people. During the week I finished reading this book. Recommended for a behind the scenes look of Facebook. It is as terrible as you can imagine.
